Altec 604 8g's question

Where do these fit in as far as sound quality compared to others in the Altec line? Are there some that are considered alot better?

Not that I am thinking about getting rid of my 604's, I am just curious as to where these would fit in as far what is considered best by most.

Sorry for such a newbie question, but I didn't know any other way to find out other than ask those who are Altec lovers. I know this is probably a very subjuctive thing, but your input will help me sort it out.

ALTEC LANSING Manufactured the same speakers over 40 years . THE FAMOUS altec sound has been preserved through out those years. Proof of this could be found in most theatres up untill the early 90's. Your 604 8g is one of the best they ever produced. It has a multicellular horn.
Sensitivity of 100db 1w/1m .AND ON TOP OF THAT IT HAS AN ALNICO MAGNET. YOU MIGHT WANT TO UPGRADE YOUR CROSS OVER WITH ICONIC . Have no doubt that your geting a lot more for your money.
